Hi folks I’m back, guess it took me a while so let me not
convince you with my usual excuses. So to make it sound better this is the new
me trying to Blog at least once a week. Hope this makes a difference to
somebody.
So why frustrated? well most of our life we spend being
frustrated about something or the other, well atleast I know I am. It could be
the job, relationships, situations, and you know what, even God, unreal ? But it’s true.
Like always it always happens in the mind and that’s what
keeps fascinating me, so I thought we would just take sometime to think about
it, who knows maybe we can even figure out how to get out of the mess of
frustration and stop cribbing!!!
WHY Frustration?
Let me try and answer this, 9 out of 10 times it’s of the
way we look at our lives. See we have 2 ways of looking at life and its broader
picture based on some dreams or hopes that we carry – “Idealistic and Realistic”
So wading through the pile, I’m making some bold
statements here by being mean:
There is no such thing as an Idealistic Life, here’s why:
Because it depends on everything being
perfect. Life is, at best, messy. It's filled with surprises-both good and bad.
If you need the ideal picture of your dream to come into being in order to feel
fulfilled, you will never be fulfilled. That doesn't mean you should cast aside
your ideal vision. It is useful for helping you to establish goals, find
internal motivation, and strive for excellence. However, you also need to
temper it.
Where idealistic dreams expect to be realized immediately, realistic
dreams make you appreciate the time it takes them to become a reality. Where
idealistic dreams do not tolerate anything less than perfection, realistic
dreams leave room for you to be human and imperfect. Where idealistic dreams
set you up for disappointment, realistic dreams set you up for success.
The man who never made a mistake, never made
anything.
So keep next time you think you made a mistake pick yourself up and say:
“What the heck, I’m a realist and this is Life”
